Innolux Sdn Bhd is a company incorporated in Malaysia under Companies Act 1965. The
company was incorporated on 9th March 2007.The core business is manufactured and
distributed dry ablution or ‘ tayammum tools ‘. Innolux Sdn.Bhd. is the first company in the world
that manufactured and distributed 'Tayammum's Tools'. The product is the first in its kind.The
product has been approved by Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia (JAKIM).The
company also involved in general trading and professional services.
The meaning of Tayammum is rubbing the clean earth or dust to the face and two hands until the
elbows with certain conditions.Tayammum or dry ablution is the replacement of ablution and
obligatory bath as a concession (rukhsah) for those who are unable to use water due to certain
reasons:
1. Sickness: If a Muslim use water, it may increase the illness or take time to be cured
2. Traveler or wayfarer
3. Unable to find any water
Allah mentioned in the Qur'an:
"O believers! When you rise up for prayer, wash your face and your hands as far as the elbows,
wipe your heads with wet hands and wash your feet to the ankles. If you had an emission of
semen, then take a full bath. However, if you are sick or on a journey or you have used the toilet
or you had intercourse with your wives and you do not find any water than resort to tayammum-
find clean soil and rub your faces and hands with it. Allah does not wish to burden you; He only
wishes to purify and you to perfect His favor upon you, so that you may be thankful".
